Terms and Conditions

Our terms and conditions ensure transparency and trust in every interaction, detailing reservations, cancellations, terms of use, and privacy policies. We are committed to providing clarity and exceptional service.

FIRST: RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS OF THE HOTEL

A) The HOTEL makes its rates, service prices, and check-in and check-out times available for public view, which the GUEST is required to adhere to.
B) If the HOTEL is unable to fulfill a confirmed reservation in writing with prepayment or is forced to terminate a fixed-term stay early, it must secure accommodation for the GUEST at another establishment with a similar rate. If the alternative hotel’s rate is lower, the HOTEL will reimburse the difference to the GUEST, and if it is higher, the HOTEL will cover the additional cost, striving to minimize any rate differences whenever possible.

SECOND: RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS OF THE GUEST

A) The GUEST acknowledges that engaging in sports, physical exercise, operating vehicles or vessels, using equipment or tools, and, in general, any activity involving risk implies that the GUEST has the necessary skills and knowledge to assume such risks. The GUEST also accepts full responsibility in case of any harm or injury, expressly releasing the HOTEL from liability.
B) The GUEST shall be held accountable for the use and booking of controlled areas. Should the GUEST or any of their invitees cause damage to the premises, they must inform the HOTEL of the damages incurred, which will be the sole responsibility of the GUEST.

THIRD: PASSPORTS AND VISAS

All travelers, without exception (including children), must carry proper personal and family documentation, such as passports or IDs, as required by current legislation. Obtaining visas, passports, vaccination certificates, etc., is the responsibility of the traveler when necessary. Minors under 18 years old must present written authorization signed by their parents or guardians, in case it is requested by any authority.

FOURTH: PAYMENT OF RESERVATIONS AS ADVANCE

Payments made by the GUEST are considered advance payments.

FIFTH: COMBATTING SEXUAL TOURISM

In compliance with Law 1336 of 2009, the property adopts the Code of Conduct for the protection of minors as follows:
i) For registration purposes, minor guests staying without their parents or legal guardian must present a notarized authorization signed by both parents or the legal guardian, according to Law 1098 of 2006 and Law 1336 of 2009. Non-compliance may result in criminal penalties for the co-owner and/or guest under current laws.
ii) The property and its employees will refrain from offering, explicitly or implicitly, plans involving the sexual exploitation of children or adolescents in tourist promotion programs and packages.
iii) It is prohibited for co-owners, employees, and visitors to provide tourists with information, directly or indirectly, about locations where commercial sexual exploitation of minors is coordinated or practiced.
iv) Co-owners, employees, and visitors are prohibited from taking guests or visitors to establishments or locations where commercial sexual exploitation of minors occurs, including locations at sea, for the purpose of such exploitation.
v) Property employees are authorized to prevent the entry of children and adolescents not under the care of their parents or legal guardians.
vi) Measures will be adopted to prevent any personnel associated with the company from offering tourist services facilitating sexual activities with minors.
vii) The property will report to the Attorney General’s Office, National Police, Ministry of Commerce, Industry, and Tourism, and other relevant authorities any knowledge or suspicion of child sexual exploitation. Internal channels will be established for reporting such incidents to authorities.
viii) To mitigate sexual tourism, all co-owners must provide 24-hour advance notice of visitor arrivals at the property. The property reserves the right to deny access if potential violations of these rules are detected.

SIXTH: COMPLIANCE WITH COLOMBIAN PENAL LAW

Guests and visitors must comply with all current Colombian criminal laws, such as Law 599 of 2000 and Law 679 of 2001.

SEVENTH: RESTRICTIONS ON WEAPONS AND PROHIBITED SUBSTANCES

Firearms and adulterated alcoholic beverages are prohibited from entering the hotel.
As Colombian law penalizes the manufacture, trafficking, and use of narcotic substances, their entry into the hotel is also prohibited.

EIGHTH: DECENCY IN COMMON AREAS

Guests and visitors must maintain moral conduct within the hotel at all times. Indecent exposure and/or sexual acts in common areas are strictly prohibited, as these behaviors disturb the peace of neighbors, employees, and other guests.
